The Reading Food Pantry relies on donations to operate. Because we are staffed completely by volunteers, 100 percent of your monetary donation goes to assisting our neighbors.
Volunteer
There are lots of ways to get involved! Organize a food drive in your neighborhood, school or place of work. We also post one-time volunteer opportunities in our updates.
Visit
Any Reading resident or family in need can visit the Reading Food Pantry. Our schedule is posted monthly for our neighbors to access the Pantry as needed!

Food Drives are an amazing way to gather items for donation! You can contact us for information about our needs and how to advertise and run your food drive.
Donate Items
Most of our inventory comes from donations from our community! We publish periodic Amazon wishlists via Facebook and our Food Pantry Updates. But we always need the following: coffee, tea, flour, sugar, baking soda, cooking oil, lunch packs of fruit, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, and tissues.
